Slither Inn Reptile Shop now offers short-term and long-term boarding for healthy reptiles on a space-available basis. Please contact us to find out if we will have space available during the time you need boarding.
We offer boarding for non-venomous snakes, bearded dragons and a variety of geckos. In time we plan to expand our range, but this is what we can accommodate at present.
- Boarding rates are based on animal species and size, as well as the length of stay. We offer daily, weekly and monthly rates.
- Owners are responsible for all feeding expenses (determined at time of boarding based on diet and feeding schedule). The owner is also responsible for all medical expenses incurred while boarding.
Due to space limitations and ease of cleaning we prefer to provide habitats for all boarded animals. We will ensure a proper sized enclosure with appropriate heating including ambient heat, basking and UVB as current care standards describe.
We cannot provide bioactive enclosures for boarding, but we do tend towards naturalistic enclosures when possible.
If you have a special-needs animal that has special habitat requirements (hospital setup or other accommodations), please note that on your Reptile Boarding Questionnaire Form for us to consider.
Boarding questionnaire (per animal) and wavier (per owner) are required for every boarding visit and can be downloaded from the buttons below.
- We provide a fill-able pdf for you to fill out for the Reptile Boarding Questionnaire Form. Please email that to us as soon as possible once we confirm we have availability, the sooner we have this info about your reptile(s), the better we will be prepared for their stay with us.
- We will have you sign initial and sign the Reptile Boarding Waiver and Release of Liability in person when you bring your reptile(s). Please review it prior to bringing your reptile(s) and feel free to print your own copy as well.
